This Copenhagen photoshoot started just like any peaceful Monday morning in the city – with coffee by the water at La Banchina Copenhagen. They sat together on the edge of the wooden pier, watching the reflections in the calm harbor. She didn’t know it yet, but this was the moment he would ask her to marry him.

He asked. She said yes.
And just like that, we captured their secret proposal in Copenhagen – slow, simple, full of emotion.

As a Copenhagen photographer, I love when sessions feel like real life, not a performance. After the proposal, we stayed a little longer for a relaxed photoshoot by the water, walking along the pier, enjoying the light and the quiet. I was shooting both with analog and digital camera!

It’s a favorite among locals – and one of my favorite places to photograph couples who want something personal and different.
In the morning, it’s calm and full of soft light. In the evening, it’s vibrant and alive. Either way, it’s a perfect backdrop for a session that’s truly you.
